Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that can be simply defined as a malignancy occurs in the mesothelial layer.

Mesothelium is the protective tissue found in the outer layer of the body’s vital organs including the lungs, heart and stomach. There are three main types of Mesothelioma in the human body which includes epithelioid type, sarcomatoid type and mixed or biphasic type.
